Time to switch the mood here.. and also the language

Hello dear reader-watcher-analyser-criticizer! I am back on my blog, jumped here from my another blog, which needed more care recently,... some kind of blog-hopping:) Need to survive in this century of divided attention, which is not easy if you have several priorities about sharing yourself with the public..
Also - the last moods I had on this blog were actually keeping me away from my own blog, because even if I had a point to share - the fact that it was in a way an outcome of a serious angryness - it made me not want to even have a look at it:) I just don't like being angry.. but how can you not be angry when there is so much madness around?
Anyway, now the idea is that more Armenian speakers got interested in this blog and i felt strange to forse them to read English, especially because some of them simply cannot understand English, so I want to switch to Armenian here, which means a lot of daily stuff that I will be putting on this blog will be only in Armenian, and the most important things that I will find necessary for also the English speaker world to know - I will try to translate in brief. Sorry for this change, i hope it will be understood.

And this is a reminder for my fellow Armenians living in Armenia, so close to the country that still has many soldiers of their beloved leader...

i just don't feel good typing the name of that "leader", makes me crazy... just realizing the fact that you can see the portrait of that 'leader" at every corner of turkey, on their money banknotes and so on... and that country is expressing a "will" to open the border with Armenia, for economic and other reasons, and Armenians somehow kind of bite that.... Really hard to believe how short can be the memory of Armenians, .. 20 years ago we were in a war, so much related to the whole tragedy of the Genocide committed continuously from 1915-1918 in nowadays turkey, and now we again start melting under the lullaby of turkish politicians, and almost agreed to open the border:)))!! Amazing!

Why artistic expression is important?...

Simply because art is one of those SPACES where the human is free to not be bound with hatred or cruelty or whatever of that kind... so if a free human, particularly an artist, of any nationality, chooses cruelty on voluntary basis, with no explanation about the reasons for doing so, it can give some clue about the level of cruelty and related "qualities" of humans belonging to the same culture as this mentioned one... I also paid attention to what are the main subjects of the turkish artists on that (one of the biggest on the world!) website (Deviantart.com), and I ca list the following: turkish coffee, turkish youth on the streets looking into the camera with an hardly understandable content in the eyes, turkish airforse, some cats (probably also turkish), turkish flag etc etc. When I think of art, flag and airforse are the last things to come to my mind, and I bet most of my international friends-artists would easily agree wit me...but unfortunately on more than 15 pages I have seen mostly that, and of course many nude women, which were there probably just to put an emphasis on the fact that man are somewhat superior to them, so they can have the priveledge to not be offered a nude photo session. Or maybe there is another reson for this last thing, but i don't want to go deep in such details:)

turkish happiness / another "artist" expressing himself on internet

here is the link, check it yourself: http://kyav.deviantart.com/art/Turkish-happiness-95348774

So, I don't see the point fo the happiness, neither the value of this "art", just mad, and it wasn't easy to find this many "artworks" with similar level of cruelty by searching for other words than "turkish" in the web resourse called "deviantart".

Here is what the author writes under his "artwork":
citation:
" Artist's Comments
Turkish happiness

project "shopping rebellion"

Terrorist are my friends

area shopping center Karavan(Pierre Cardin) in Kharkov. "

another example

I had a look on artistic expressions of the turkish students of art, and see what I found (here is the link http://mrdream.deviantart.com/art/Birth-of-a-Nation-36888942 so you can check it yourself). I tried to put myself in the place of an artist who has had a task to fit in a deadline, for creating an artwork called "Birth of a Nation", and somehow I couldn't imagine how it worked in this case... Well, most likely this "birth of a nation" was the moment of the Armenian genocide, so that is one big reason to not be tolerant to such kind of "art", and besides - this is just an insight, dear pro-turkish politicians or whoever else that is ok with sharing a space with this culture... Feel it!

citation from the mentioned link:
"Artist's Comments

Inspired from the book "Şu Çılgın Türkler"
This is one of my rejected artworks for an historical-themed school project. (Turkish War of Independence)
My teacher said: " The sword-wielding man looks too cruel ...even for war."
May be he's right.. :)

This was meant to beat the deadline so you may notice it lacks some details.. "

Hitler and the Armenian Genocide

Hitler and the Armenian Genocide

Bardakjian, Kevork.
Cambridge, Massachusetts: Zoryan Institute, 1985, 81 pages. ISBN 0-916431-18-5.
"Few realized, at the time, that the Holocaust was the latest in a chain of systematic butcheries that by now formed a clear pattern of increasing massive violence."
Description:
Through meticulous research, Dr. Bardakjian explores the background to the statement made by Adolf Hitler in August 1939, in which he justified his plan to destroy Poland and create a new order by asking, "Who remembers now the destruction of the Armenians?" Dr. Bardakjian demonstrates that Hitler was well aware of what happened to the Armenians and that the actions of the Young Turk leaders against the Armenians figured into his racial policies. Hitler's rhetorical question took on an ominous significance with the extermination of the Jews and Gypsies during World War II. Many have argued that the failure to bring the Young Turk government to justice for its crimes against the Armenians led Hitler to believe he would not be held responsible for his own crimes against humanity.

and a very recent chat with a turkish person gives more clue...

have a look, doesn't it sound strange that a turkish female first talks about peace...and then immediately, after I talked about justice and so on, she turns into "I am a soldier of ataturk, bye bye!" ???

Armenian Turkish border?? You mean we agree about that other part of Armenia to be taken just like that, + the lives of all those killed Armenians?

Armenian Turkish border?? You mean we - Armenians (and actually the rest of the world, becides Turkish) agree about that other part of Armenia (now in Turkey) to be taken just like that, + the lives of all those Armenians who were killed in 1915? And also we agree to start normal relations (let it be economic or whatever kind) with those young turks which take on themselves the murders of their grandfathers by simply denying the genocide of Armenians? How can we have such short memory? How is it possible after all to be convinced us again and again that economy is more important than dignity and justice??? Why are some armenians so sure that we cannot live without the "generous turkey's" economic help?? I simply can't believe there can be ANY benefit from the armenian turkish border opening and all the further processes.... i can't believe in something that doesn't sound logical...
