I think peace is when both sides want it. Azerbaijan doesn't want peace in any cost, the only thing they want (at least how the state of azerbaijan claims every single day)is conflict in whatever possible ways, and they have a whole generation of youngsters that heard "armenians are the evil" instead of lullaby. This means there is no basis for ANY peaceful thoughts at the moment. But of course i do not say that I deny the potential possibility of Armenia and azerbaijan to be in peace at some remote future. At least after say - 50 years maybe, of course if they understand what they need to do for peace. Point.

Ուրբաթ, նոյեմբերի 12, ժամը 15:00 «Ժառանգ» մշակութային հասարակական կազմակերպության նախաձեռնությամբ «Թեքեյան» կենտրոնի մեծ դահլիճում կկայանա թուրքական և ադրբեջանական քարոզչական կինոնկարների դիտում։
Դիտումների նպատակն է հայկական հանդիսատեսին տեղեկացնել ադրբեջանական և թուրքական կինոյում հայատյացության թեմայի շահագործման, այդ երկրներում կինոն որպես հակահայկական քարոզչության գործիք օգտագործման օրինակներին։

Կցուցադրվի Թուրքիայի զբոսաշրջության և մշակույթի նախարարության պատվերով նկարահանված պատմական ժանրի «Հարյուր քսան» գեղարվեստական ֆիլմը, ինչպես նաև մի շարք ադրբեջանական արտադրության նյութեր՝ կարճամետրաժ կինոնկար, մուլտֆիլմ, այլ տեսանյութեր։ Միջոցառման ընթացքում կներկայացվեն նաև լրացուցիչ տեղեկություններ Ադրբեջանում և Թուրքիայում վարվող հակահայկական քարոզչության մասին։

Մուտքն ազատ է։

«Ժառանգ» մշակութային հասարակական կազմակերպությունը ստեղծվել է 2003 թվականին։ Կազմակերպության նպատակն է հայկական պատմամշակութային ժառանգության պահպանումը, հայ մշակույթի զարգացմանն աջակցելը, կրթական ծրագրերի մշակումը և իրագործումը։

Hello dear reader-watcher-analyser-criticizer! I am back on my blog, jumped here from my another blog, which needed more care recently,... some kind of blog-hopping:) Need to survive in this century of divided attention, which is not easy if you have several priorities about sharing yourself with the public..
Also - the last moods I had on this blog were actually keeping me away from my own blog, because even if I had a point to share - the fact that it was in a way an outcome of a serious angryness - it made me not want to even have a look at it:) I just don't like being angry.. but how can you not be angry when there is so much madness around?
Anyway, now the idea is that more Armenian speakers got interested in this blog and i felt strange to forse them to read English, especially because some of them simply cannot understand English, so I want to switch to Armenian here, which means a lot of daily stuff that I will be putting on this blog will be only in Armenian, and the most important things that I will find necessary for also the English speaker world to know - I will try to translate in brief. Sorry for this change, i hope it will be understood.

i just don't feel good typing the name of that "leader", makes me crazy... just realizing the fact that you can see the portrait of that 'leader" at every corner of turkey, on their money banknotes and so on... and that country is expressing a "will" to open the border with Armenia, for economic and other reasons, and Armenians somehow kind of bite that.... Really hard to believe how short can be the memory of Armenians, .. 20 years ago we were in a war, so much related to the whole tragedy of the Genocide committed continuously from 1915-1918 in nowadays turkey, and now we again start melting under the lullaby of turkish politicians, and almost agreed to open the border:)))!! Amazing!

Simply because art is one of those SPACES where the human is free to not be bound with hatred or cruelty or whatever of that kind... so if a free human, particularly an artist, of any nationality, chooses cruelty on voluntary basis, with no explanation about the reasons for doing so, it can give some clue about the level of cruelty and related "qualities" of humans belonging to the same culture as this mentioned one... I also paid attention to what are the main subjects of the turkish artists on that (one of the biggest on the world!) website (Deviantart.com), and I ca list the following: turkish coffee, turkish youth on the streets looking into the camera with an hardly understandable content in the eyes, turkish airforse, some cats (probably also turkish), turkish flag etc etc. When I think of art, flag and airforse are the last things to come to my mind, and I bet most of my international friends-artists would easily agree wit me...but unfortunately on more than 15 pages I have seen mostly that, and of course many nude women, which were there probably just to put an emphasis on the fact that man are somewhat superior to them, so they can have the priveledge to not be offered a nude photo session. Or maybe there is another reson for this last thing, but i don't want to go deep in such details:)

So, I don't see the point fo the happiness, neither the value of this "art", just mad, and it wasn't easy to find this many "artworks" with similar level of cruelty by searching for other words than "turkish" in the web resourse called "deviantart".

I had a look on artistic expressions of the turkish students of art, and see what I found (here is the link http://mrdream.deviantart.com/art/Birth-of-a-Nation-36888942 so you can check it yourself). I tried to put myself in the place of an artist who has had a task to fit in a deadline, for creating an artwork called "Birth of a Nation", and somehow I couldn't imagine how it worked in this case... Well, most likely this "birth of a nation" was the moment of the Armenian genocide, so that is one big reason to not be tolerant to such kind of "art", and besides - this is just an insight, dear pro-turkish politicians or whoever else that is ok with sharing a space with this culture... Feel it!

Of course walking on the beach was a greater entertainment for me than shopping or visiting touristic places. I tried to leave there some of the useless thoughts I had. The sea carried them away to the horison and they all got burned in the fireworks of sunset. Then we got inspired to do some flashmobs in supermarkets, and we did. So the beach mood went into some supermarkets and now people have more memories from this summer. That felt a nice participation in this foreign society. I like becoming a part, not just visiting or consuming. Wish you the same in any new place.

Some cool conceptual artist made this piece of history which is not gonna appear on guidebooks about Vilnius. The name of that artist is Mr. History. I liked the way this temple looked, just as if it went to hairdresser, and the hairdresser went mad, then they had a fight and the temple just ran away, now standing on the street and thinking "what to do now?" :))

Animals in general are quite fed us I think. Imagine you living in a jungle where there is no showers no bankomats no supertemples (this is the way I started to call supermarkets, will later explain why). Animals in cities don't get the comforts they need. So they express themselves like this, looking into the eyes of the guys who later can't resist painting this kind of stuff on the walls..

Can design be aggressive too? Or do we need only noisy aggression to recognize it?

I had a second of thinking over many of the ideas and actions that kept tickling my mind the last months, about all the cyber activist stuff that I am so much into (or I think I am), all the real time activities held by my friends and their friends thousands of kilometres far away from where I am now…about all the loses and victories of people who try to do things…. And that second of thinking was such a long and big one, that it exploded within itself into a set of doubts / analyses and here they are in front of the dear readers of my blog! First of all I again came to the point that there is actually no point for talking, when we still have head, hands, legs and the rest to engage in ACTION. I talk now, but I know this talk will have just NO value if my actions will not prove that I am honestly working my ass out to bring a change to the people, by first trying to change myself into something more useful and interesting for the people, world, universe… But well, I cant stop sharing myself here because it does give some real effect, according to my criteria of what is “effect”. Several months ago I had tens of depressed and tensioned Armenian fellows to speak myself to, about what I think we all could do to at least get rid of our own depressions, or what we all could do for others – to listen, understand, help them, and to ourselves of course, by feeling good for having done something gentle and useful.

Now, here, in this forest of digits and mental waves coming from the most random directions, meeting up on this blog (and other blogs like this) and then again getting spread around even more randomly, here in this dark room with people who don’t see each other’s faces but talk to each other (imagine this in real life, it is in a way scaryJ)) ), I see some really little changes, for example the fact that my blog is being viewed by people from more than 50 countries, and it can be often around 100 people a day. And it makes me feel even more responsible for every single word I write here, or pictures I put, and I try to also become more useful. And thus this virtual “dark room” starts becoming a multi-level platform for me and others to meet, tell, discuss, disagree, whatever… I really value every single comment here, just as if I would meet the person in real life, and I try to imagine I am actually looking into that person’s eyes when replying to the comment, even if I have never seen him / her. Why? Because I simply don’t feel like harming someone even online. Especially for no real reason, and by having a pure understanding of disadvantages of online interaction to a real life interaction.

I think one of the main ethical norms in cyber-interaction could be “no harm” as in most of the ancient civilizations, although they didn’t have this online side of the world.

To try to conclude this long text I just want to mention that for me this is not at all just a tool to get things out of myself … this is the virtual Mirror Server of my Self. This is my home, and you are my guest. Guest is a being of a very high significance. One should respect guests, by giving pure water until they decide if they wanna stay longer and maybe have a meal or do whatever else together, and so on.

Now, I must cut this monologue out, coz I SEE how long it got. This is not right.

But as a blogger with only a little more than one year experience, I needed this monologue. Thanks for all your attention dear reader, if you are still here;-)

Tie Chi - the new use of the most useless part of human clothing since the beginning of times.

Tie-chi - this is how i named this tie-related stuff that is tickling my mind these last 3 days. I changed the use of my tie, then the shape a bit, than the look. It became something useful for me. And now I am trying to share it with others. So, the concept of this "Tai Chi" (subvertised version of "Tai Chi" Chineese art of living) is as follows:

Invent and share different techniques of changing the most useless thing in human clothing – the tie – into something very useful in terms of information and culture exchange, emotional stimulation and idea injection into people, who do need ... injections!

The functionally useful tie - renewed with a drawing

I made the picture of a kid with the bird (some apocaliptic series from the book of BANKSY "Wall and Peace") on this tie, and now it will be also functional in edicational-cultural meaning, as well as contact making (for example if someone who likes street art as well, will see this drawing on my tie, might want to know why and how do have it there?). Or at least this is the way I am trying to explain my passion of drawing EVERYWHERE!

New use for the ties

I really needed to hang the camera somehow and it didn't have hanger on it. So I decided to hang it on my tie, which was there for fun anyway, not as a serious tie anyway (I just felt like making fun of ties by wearing one, coz i NEVER wear ties). It was very handy, and that is a serious reason for me to start wearing this tie! It is a part of my idea about functionality of our belongings, including clothes etc.

Simply had the camera with me and decided to film and it then me and Dziugas (my Lithuanian friend) decided to name this all CAVE TV! Why? Because we have very fresh memories from the New Year celebration which we had in the cold caves in Armenia this year, living in minus 25 by celsius for more than a week! The cave spirit is here in us since then, and so, this is an action to bring that spirit to people.

Got GREEN and fresh! Great feeling!

YUK!
I am sure this horror scene is possible to prevent if we all understand that WE are the state, and WE are to make the changes we need! The small youth group HENQ understood it in Armenia, and they keep taking the drops of water out of the biiig see of madness ... one drop at a time...continuously, but with the belief and with courage to not give up!
You know, that is enough for now. if you daubt they will empty the see - try to interrupt them! If you secceed - means you were right, and they didn't deserve the ambitions they had. But I daubt you will succeed;-)

You see I keep fueling the same theme again and again, the issue of media-killing machine, the importance of fighting it from within by creating an alternative to it, and by believing that using machines in media work should not mean making the media something like a worldwide machine gun. What we Armenians often don't notice is that we don't really move ourselves much, we don't do sports as much as we could, having Armenian nature with all its paradise elements (I mean when you go just a little bit out of Yerevan, oyt of noise and smoke..).. I wish the Armenian youth would find this kind of free time as fun as sitting in a cafe or eating their evenings out at some relatives' places. Partying in Armenia also often means just sitting near the tabnle for such a long time that the spirit of partying simply goes away, so people just keep ..eating:)

Sorry for the criticism, I just want Armenia to be as perfect as it can, so critical people like me will have to just shut up and not make any "patriots" angry by such comments.

"HENQ" .... instead of "ZENQ" ?

...well these Armenian words are in a way linked. The first one (henq) means "something to lean on, to get support with", and the second one (zenq) means "weapon". HENQ is the word that symbolizes the new Armenian non-political initiative and is struggling for LIFE and FUN in Armenia, in very very brief, but it can also be a 'weapon' if to consider the ANTI-LIFE and NON-FUN opposition and state stupidity as a danger, seriousely hanging over the heads of depressed Armenians nowadays...
I have a feeling that the HENQ thing is much more powerful and it already showed its shine the last several days and weeks in Yerevan, spreading a very strange message of playing with ideas / facts / thoughts / people.... I think Yerevan atmosphere was lacking in those elements of youth creativity, and now I feel so much more secure with HENQ existing!

"I HEN", instead of "I ZEN !" ("i zen" means "take the weapons", is an exclamation used very often during the Armenian history of invasions...."). "I HEN" would mean "Take the Support, support yourself!"... Correct me if am wrong:)

Coctail with Silence and Water

I had new flashes about "Atlantida-2" in my mind these days, and some of them appeared to be just questions to the SPACE: "is Atlantida gone?"..."is Atlantida-2 the Atlantida-1 reborn?"..."What does it all actually mean?"... "Is this just some conceptual art mixed with daily worries about the last marks of Atlantida getting deleted from people's mind-files?, or is this a real feeling of the new kind of civilization getting started in the hearts of people who do not rest without dreaming and acting??" .... and actually...where is Atlantida-2?... (this is the rhytoric answer-less question I ask to myself every time when i again feel strangly far from nature, at times because of sitting too long in front of this eye-freezer computer...or sometimes because of interacting with too many human-made things...)

...there really was no sound but silence in these headphones, and the only thing I heard was a reply from "nowhere", saying approximately this: "Atlantida-2 is there where you locate it, it is there where your inspiration meets your friends and your actions, it is where all the others' dreams meet, so on some kind of 5-dimensional mental crossroad with amazingly complicated net of life-lines just like each of us has on both hands, but in a more semi-real mega-weird way:)) See, the language is having difficulties to serve as a tool to explain things about "Atlantida-2", and ....it is actually symbolic, because language is gonna give way to moe efficient way(s) of communication for people to communicate with each other, in order to get to that station, called "Atlantida-2";-)))

I call her "Aude the Audestanding, Audenomous". This girl is the most arty person I have ever met! She moves a hand and it draws an art-line in the air !!! Here you see the "hand-dance" she gave a birth to, just like that, playing with the aura of her hands that she got as a present from nature quite long ago, and didn't say thanks" yet.... I guess now they all (Audestanding Aude and her 2 hands) live in more harmony and peace;-)
